Jay Jattana
Founder & Veterinarian
Dr Jay graduated from JCU Townsville in 2017 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. Since then he has worked in emergency and general practice clinics around Far North Queensland honing his skills and special interests.
Cassowary Coast Vet Clinic all began with the plan to offer a clinic that specifically focused on pet care and community service by locals for locals.
Dr Jay is dedicated to making a difference and promoting better pet health within the Cassowary Coast region.
Jess Hickerton
Head Veterinary Nurse
Jess has been a veterinary nurse for 10 years, qualifying in 2020 through Animal Industries Resource Centre. Jess has a special interest in canine behaviour, anaesthesia and general patient care. She is excited to take on the head nurse position and train the next generation of keen veterinary nurses!

Mary has spent the last eight years of her career caring for all animals great and small. While dedicated to giving your pets the most comfortable and least stressful appointment possible, she is also driven to give you a friendly, compassionate, and satisfying customer experience.
